Last week I had the opportunity to visit the Bodegas Irius Somontano and before I give you the details say it is a highly recommended experience.

The business group started Rioja Proconsol Irius journey of several years ago with an investment of 90 million euros and with the firm intention to build a warehouse that was unique and international reference and using the most advanced technologies in the wine sector could produce exceptional quality wines.

Located near Barbastro in Somontano appellation, the first thing that hits is the architecture designed by architect Jesús María Pascual Logroño and production capacity is around five million liters.
