A few days after Madrid Restaurant Week there is a new initiative in our city from the hand of Livebookings and Tourism of Madrid.

This time the initiative is to mobilize a large number of restaurants in Madrid to offer a menu Solidario. More than fifty restaurants will offer for a week, from 6 to November 15, a menu that will contribute € 2 to the worthy cause of Action Against Hunger.

The restaurants offer meeting a wide variety of menus, so that each guest will find the gastronomic experience that takes your fancy. Italian Restaurant, Asian, Mediterranean, traditional author ... and menus to suit all budgets, between 20 and 40 €. Among the places that have joined the initiative include establishments like Dassa Bassa, Europe Deco Ouimad, Bella Lola, The Butcher, Ecobar & spa, China Crown, The Chamfer, Hakkasan, Olsen, East 47, bougainvillea, Verdil, Guipuzcoa, La Recoleta, Meson del Cid, and many others.

Action Against Hunger has been chosen as the beneficiary of the proceeds of the lunches and dinners, specially designed for the occasion. This tasty, unselfish, many people go a little part of your bill to various emergency projects that this institution is now developing in nutrition, health and hydrology as well as the training of professionals trained to work in these tasks .

Many will think that this is another way to promote the restaurants of Madrid and to encourage public attendance in times of crisis. But I'd rather stay with what it might mean a small gesture of solidarity which, although not significant, it is still something that might not always do.
