Bodega Matarromera

Recently announced the launch of a new wine by Matarremora Group. In particular the new product is called EMINASIN and how could it be otherwise, and hand this large group of wine is a wine, but wine is something peculiar. EMINASIN range is a wine red, pink and white with only 0.5 of alcohol.

EMINASIN was obtained thanks to the most advanced technology with a patented system that stands as a global pioneer to preserve the organoleptic characteristics of traditional wine, but almost entirely eliminating its alcohol content.

EMINASIN has been developed through a system known as Spinning Cone Column (CCR). Its dealcoholization is carried out through a vacuum distillation at low temperature, of a previously fermented wine stainless steel tanks and provided at a controlled temperature. Through this process of "deconstruction", minimizing the risk of loss of aroma components in wine.

The result of this innovative process is a fresh, fruity and different, destined to conquer a market segment that until now could not enjoy the benefits of a product as exquisite as is the wine: drivers, pregnant women, or those who for religious reasons have prohibited alcohol consumption, now have the chance to try this new product as novel as exquisite

EMINASIN, the market is presented in boxes of 6 units of 70 cl and in three different references:

  • EminaSin Tinto: Made from the Tempranillo excellent Matarromera has obtained the area of the Douro
  • EminaSin White: Made from the best grape Verdejo in Rueda
  • EminaSin Pink: Made with grapes from Cigales.

There were already precedents for non-alcoholic wines in Spain. the first was the Hermitage Alltos using techniques that "similar" to those of developed Matarromera this wine but had far more EMINASIN graduation.

In case you want to know more about the Matarromera I will say that is located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero and the winery is half buried in the hillside north of the Douro Valley in Valbuena de Duero, Valladolid. This group has had several international hits and managed to achieve awards and recognitions throughout his career. It has a great technology for the production of top quality wines and has a processing capacity is 650,000 liters per year although its average annual production is about 350,000 bottles. The grape varieties are grown mainly Tinta del Pais, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
