Potatoes in De Tapa Madre

A few days ago I got to do a visit to the city. As on many other occasions, my schedule was pretty tight and, except dinner, was full of compromises. In this situation, I found the need to eat, so I decided to try the place that was in front of my hotel.

The local name, De Tapa Madre, it was suggestive in itself. No less inspiring was the facade of the premises. Lit, pleasant, with large windows that let you see inside the room and an air of "tavern" from before.

Once inside, is a place with an extensive bar and some tables on one side and a two-story dining medium on the other. The decor is typical of a traditional local and the look is clean and tidy with plenty of wood. In my case, I decided on a hole in the bar. Highlight the service was prompt and friendly.

With the letter in the hand is easy to see that this meant to facilitate making a tapas meal even if alone. The portions are medium, allowing the solo enjoy more than one. In my case I decided on some calamari which were excellent and a secret Iberian casserole served with salsa. Happy with the experience, I decided to repeat the next day. This time my choice was calamari grilled sausage and scrambled eggs and pine nuts and the truth is that it also be very pleased.

I regret not having more pictures you can check it for yourself, but my conclusion is that local is a highly recommended for what its name implies, tapas.
