Rarely, as in this very special restaurant, will be a fusion of modern and historical as so overwhelming. The restaurant is a local BRAC with modern decor without fanfare, with large and well spaced tables, with a colorful bar well stocked with all kinds of drinks to make an after dinner drink (if they do not want to follow in the table .)
So far nothing that can not be found in many local European cities. The truly surprising, and perhaps only, comes from the presence of historic ruins. The back wall of the room is not a simple stone wall breaks and contrasts with the rest of the decor: it is an authentic part of the old medieval city wall.

Even more shocking is the large space that can be accessed by a local glass ending then the bar: at first glance seems as if the restaurant had put a glass to ... a car park. When we get closer and agree, we find a space that could well look like a garage or similar site, but which has some metal walkways that fly a real Roman ruins of the old Bracara Augusta, the important Roman city that gave birth to the city.

This incomparable cuisine could camouflage a mediocre but not so. The kitchen is modern but based on traditional Portuguese cuisine, and the portions are more generous than usual in this type of cuisine. My companion and I shared a shrimp sautéed mushrooms and very correct, a milhoja of Alheira (a sort of typical local sausage and delicious) and broccoli topped with an egg, another milhoja this time of cod and vegetables was an amazing touch cod, and a delicious chocolate dessert for gourmands.

I regret not remember the brand of wine, but it was the name Douro (Douro in Portuguese) and I personally liked a lot. As if all this were not enough, the prices seen from Spain are a marvel, about half of what would be in a comparable site here.
I regret that the photos are not very good (provided the history of the phone), but as the reason that Braga was going to bring back numerous times in the future, I promise to complete another review with photos on conditions and introduce other restaurants of the city.
