One of the sites that always comes to mind when the warm fall afternoon in Madrid is the Pardo.

For those who do not may know El Pardo is a small village with about 5,000 inhabitants with a short history since it was originally a large farm to the sixteenth century kings earmarked as a playground and in which little by little houses were built that inhabit those who back then worked for royalty. The Pardo had to wait until the nineteenth century into a little village and lasted since independence in 1950 joined the municipality of Madrid. Although not much history the Royal Palace of El Pardo (sixteenth to eighteenth centuries) worth a visit as it contains many works of art inside.

In my case the memory is because in this place there are a few restaurants with terraces where the temperature can be reduced more than five degrees from Madrid, so you can imagine the delight of dining at them, especially when facing some of them have some currency swings from the table where the kids can wander free.

Among these restaurants we usually choose the Gamo and we do because it has a nice terrace and strategically placed, attentive and efficient service and a varied menu to choose from.

Croquettes appetizer, a grilled mixed vegetables and some scrambled eggs with Iberian ham are a good start and follow us tend to share for dinner for two in the earthenware dish Churrasco, good meat and good solution when shared with someone with different taste at the point of the meat. Sole, chops, deer or other meat are also good option but the last time we were the Rabbit with Garlic worthless.
