Input The Warehouse On the trip to Avila we mentioned a few days ago we chose the OU as a place to store food only in Avila, so that the election should be thoughtful, and we were right ... we ate a scandal!

They are currently refurbishing the premises and its facade is somewhat impaired but inside reform nor appreciated by a very well resuleta temporary separation. As we indicated they expect to have completed reform and completely renovated new location for next fall, so that we target new appointment to check then the result of it.

The dining room can accommodate about 45 people is long, wide, well lit thanks to large windows and decorative well resolved and very nice. We were seven guests which allowed us to taste a wide variety of dishes, ask the center about to start, then asked with Fried Eggs average Carabaineros for everyone, and we continue with a second for each three desserts to end the center.

Among the entries highlighted the simplicity of an octopus with potatoes to the two salts in a development of great simplicity, but with the best results achieved by the point of both preparations and the quality and natural flavor of the product, octopus, potatoes, paprika, oil and salt. A curious entry, which at first they had to ask was, Candy was the Avilanian consisting of a thin strips of beef caramelized Avila, covered with strips of green onion with a light tempurizada and olive oil sauce and red pepper. The result was superb and despite the uniqueness of the meat processing, combining with spicy onion and getting a more than curious.

Fried Eggs with Carbaineros

Among the latter selected Avilanian Sirloin Grilled, suckling pig confit with potatoes and apples, Bluefin Tuna with Truffle Oil, Baked hake with clams, baby squid stuffed with prawns in brown sauce and a slightly spicy rice sailor. in general all the dishes and their products were of quality but if I have to say something particularly highlight Tuna and Piglet, both of exceptional quality and perfect point and texture.

The wine chosen this time was a Ribera del Duero in Penafiel, San Francisco Convent 2004 that gave fair consideration to two bottles. Along with the desserts tasted a San Emilio Lustau. Only I think they should correct certain inaccuracies between the name of the dishes in a letter and the final preparations, because in some cases, I understand that lack of product, the dishes suffer some changes that are not advised.

The price of food I think was about 60 euros which shows good value and service is very consistent with what is required. A site that does not lose if you must pass by Avila.
