At the end of this June in Santiago de Compostela will begin the first call of Santiago Tapas Competition (e) Tapas will bring together more than forty restorers.

The initiative organized by the Economic Development Concellaría and Tourism will run until July 13 and will aim to promote Galician cuisine through small dishes that showcase their exquisite miniature.

Establishments participating in the competition finally configure a series of gastronomic routes that will be drawn based on the geographical proximity between the different locations. Prizes will be awarded Best Cover, Top Chef, Top Public Traditional and cover, the latter being the only decision given by the public, since the rest will be handled by a professional jury.

As if summer will not happen to you to walk around Galicia, but if so I would not pass up the opportunity to visit this beautiful town with this tasty excuse. Ah! and do not forget your Tapasporte.
