Clearly shoot him four days away from home gives you a chance to meet a few restaurants and that's what happened to me on my recent trip to Barcelona. Some of them have been occasional and improvised, and other unhealthy premeditated and planned to advance, but if I have to stay with one that has surprised me I prefer this restaurant called The Pochard.
A good friend of Barcelona (thanks Carles!) So I get hit with improvised this peculiar place. I say this because in front of the Hotel Icaria where spent the night at odd hours something for dinner and a decent house, and not saying that this not be-came the question from my friend What and where are we going? What do you fancy? My answer was clear and submissive ... I'm in your hands and in your city, so that wherever you want ... It was at that very moment, without hesitation when Carles decided to go to what he called a place I would surprise.
We walked for about ten or fifteen minutes between the pleasant conversations we Tufted, located almost near the end of the Street Doctor Trueta, the area northeast of Barcelona, "close" to the marina.
The place is small, only has five or six tables and a small bar at the entrance in the back kitchen, local conception can hardly be more modest, the walls filled with posters of soccer (Danone always sponsor) and shelves full of trophies múltimples shapes and sizes, hats hanging from the roof and other kinds of objects, but despite all this mess, the place shows character and becomes pleasant stay in the heat of any conversation.

Thomas and Pilar who run the local charge of the room and the kitchen respectively, are concerned that your stay is not temporary and that your memories will last his kindness, his sympathy, his conversation and cuisine. In my case, the two days I've gone to dinner, I put in the hands of Thomas and delighted us with what he understood was the best of the day, seafood and snails, sea snails, shells, barnacles or stews as Cap i Pota with and without beans, sweetbreads with onions or anchovies with Pan Roast Potatoes Tumaca or-nothing to do with that normally respond to this name. I assure you that all this will leave you indifferent and you can enjoy a "Pica Pica", as they say in Barcelona, authentic, high quality and priced between the 2nd or 30 Euros per person, always depending on what you ask.

I love this place, apart from the wild they have, (with bacon) also make some with egg and sausage that are scrumptious pa! well as preparing all saucers, setan with sepietas, octopus, tripe and other goodies ...

"Tufted", this house is amazing. Requetebien eaten, it is at home because both are lovely as Tomas Pilar. The price of food is very affordable and as I said before it's all delicious. My partner and I go very often and always surprise us with something new.

I dined there say it is the best of the best in Barcelona. Looks are not telling the whole value of the kitchen and living environment friendliness and dinner. Spectacular.
